Hey there! My name is Charlie. Originally from Montana, I completed my undergraduate degree in Writing and Composition from Berklee College of Music. I also completed a master's degree in music therapy from Loyola University New Orleans. I've taught at the Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts. I can teach guitar, voice, drums, and piano, and I specialize in adapted lessons (with folks with special needs, neurodivergent, or disorders). I'm most familiar with the styles of rock, folk, jazz, and blues, but can work in other styles as well. My hope is that I can help students develop a meaningful relationship with music and their instrument.

I am a highly educated musician and my bassist didn't know anything. We both started taking lessons from Charlie and jamming with him for different reasons and, I'll tell you what, he was able to cater to both our weaknesses as musicians and fill in the gaps of knowledge we both weren't even aware we were missing!
