About Me

I have been performing guitar and voice for nearly twenty years. Raised on Rock N Roll, with Jimi Hendrix as my role model, I have learned and utilized a myriad of genres as a part of my craft. My ear is my strongest point as a musician. I can pick out any song by just listening to it, oftentimes only once, and I hope to instill this learned talent upon all of my students. I have played the world famous Troubadour in Los Angeles, shared the stage with Fitz and the Tantrums, and been featured in the L.A. Times for my iTunes debut, "Drink the Wine." I am currently living the dream in Charleston, South Carolina, teaching lessona and working on a forthcoming EP.

Review:

Judson is the best of the best!

Judson is one of those rare individuals whose presence, even at first meeting, is like that of a cherished friend you've known since childhood. He is a fantastic teacher due in large part to his ability to listen. He has a unique way of leaning-in to you with widened eyes and lifted brow so as to let you know he is utterly tuned in and interested in what you are saying. Judson is a master at songwriting, hooky melodies and is also the guy I would call anytime I needed a guitar player. His vocal talents are world class and he is one of those artists who the listener can identify just seconds into a song. Judson sounds like Judson. Judson has and incredible knowledge of music history and a broad range of musical influences. He is one of the most special people I've ever met and we've spent many, many hours together talking, laughing and playing music. If you want to take a music lesson from one of the most talented, gentle, caring and friendly musicians around, Judson is the perfect choice. I give Judson 5 stars and then some!!! brent j dickey wrote on Wed, 21 Jun 2017
