My Formal Education has varied throughout my music career. I have taken a handful of music classes in High school such as guitar, band guitar and classical guitar, music history and music appreciation. I am currently an online student (senior) at Liberty University studying Criminal Justice, however when I was living on campus I was double majoring in Criminal Justice and Music Production/Sound Engineering. A large portion of my college career has been focused around music with classes such as guitar performance, guitar lead, guitar rhythm, song writing, sound engineering, sound mixing/mastering/producing, and recording/editing.

Although an informal form of education, I must give credit to me history with self-taught lessons. A large majority of my skills have been acquired of my own volition, with long hours of reading, practicing, studying and the overcoming of tedious obstacles.

My preforming experience varies from all different types of scenes. I have performed in formal and informal concerts, venues, restaurants and schools. I have performed all different genres of music, from formal Classical to Rock, Metal, Funk, Jazz, Pop, Solo, Singer Songwriter, Coffee Shop, Alternative and Orchestral. A majority of these performances consisted of me playing lead and rhythm guitar, along with back ground vocals, however some venues I have played drums and bass.

Unfortunately, I do not have much “paid” teaching experience, however I do have a large amount of informal teaching experience.  Growing up everything I learned, I taught. I would study and discover something new about music and immediately would want to tell someone about it. As I got older, a lot of other aspiring musicians would ask me how to do something with the guitar or how I would change the mechanics of a certain song, how to edit or mix something, how to read tabs or preform certain chords or style of music. One of my college music professors had asked me if I could volunteer and help assist in teaching one of his classes for a semester for a beginner lever guitar class to which I greatly enjoyed.
