My name is Greg. I currently live in the San Diego area after spending most of my life in Tennessee. I fell in love with music in high school, and haven't looked back since. I started playing guitar at age 17, and went on to major in classical guitar performance in college. Living in Tennessee has made me familiar with Memphis blues and the country music of Nashville, in addition to Rock n' Roll, as well as the skills I picked up studying classical guitar.

Greg M. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
I studied with classical guitar virtuoso Stanley Yates at APSU in Clarksville, Tennessee, where I attained my B.S. in classical guitar performance. Mr. Yates is world renowned as a performer of and educator of the classical guitar. He came in 3rd place in the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America artist competition in 1990. He graduated Sandown College of Performing Arts, Liverpool with the highest pass in the history of the college, and was the first non-pianist to receive the Morgan Dissertation Award at the University of North Texas.
Performing Experience:
Various recitals, open mics, and solo gigs over the past 10 years. In my senior recital at APSU, I played an hour of music from memory.
Experience Teaching:
Taught guitar to high school age students in an after school program for six months.
