Born in Havana, Cuba, on January 11th 1987. From an early age he showed his vocation for music, obtaining numerous awards in festivals of his country with music of his own.

Formal Education:
At the age of 14 began studying classical guitar and graduated at 22 in the professional development Center Felix Varela in Havana.
Performing Experience:
At 18 begins to sing profesionally in the Polyphonic Choir of Havana directed by Carmen Collado. As an electric guitarist become a part of several projects of cuban music, pop, classical music and jazz such as Lucia Huergo and Osdalgia lesmes among others. In Ecuador created an indie rock project called Elephant kill lion and collaborated with artist such as Lu Miranda in New York started a gipsy punk band called Speakeasy streets.
Experience Teaching:
At 24 traveled to Ecuador where he began to teach guitar in different music academies in Quito. In 2012 works with the Franz Liszt Conservatory as the Guitar ensemble director and also as the Music History teacher.

I received guitar lessons from Hansel, who was absolutely top of the line. He was open to teaching me all of the various styles and techniques that I had my heart set on. He quickly adapted to different styles that he had not been familiar with before, and I was super impressed and even envious! He took his time and was very patient with me. On top of it, Hansel was very kind and always did his job with a smile. I feel we became good friends during the time I studied with him. It is without hesitation that I recommend Hansel for the role of private music instructor. I became acquainted with Hans when he offered group guitar lessons to a small group of six and seven-year-old children in my community. I watched him joyfully and even-handedly introduce these young learners to the world of guitar playing. He took each child's learning style into consideration and stayed committed to giving them a positive experience of music, no matter what their skill level. The patience he consistently exhibited with the young learners was truly remarkable. My 7 year old son learned to like guitar from that early exposure, I approached Hans with the request to continue with him for private lessons. Hans was a direct and responsive communicator and was flexible and consistent with his scheduling. I would observe portions of the lessons, but felt 100% confident that when my son was working with Hans that he was having fun, deepening his enjoyment of the guitar, and getting top notch instruction. Excelent and Positive Teacher
Hansel was one of our guitar teachers in the Franz Liszt Conservatory of Music. One of the skills that he developed to our students was their self-confidence in guitar interpretation. He is very versatile in music styles, he's an excellent professional, his technique is really clear and he expresses a lot with his music. Recommended!
