I have been in orchestra class since middle school. I now attend the South Carolina Governor's School for Art's and Humanities. I attend music classes on an average of 6-8 hours each day. I make all A's in my music and academic classes. 

I took lessons from a certified Suzuki teacher for 7-8 years. I now take lessons from Jennifer John at the Governor's School for Art's and Humanities. I also take from a wide variety of other music teachers in many different classes including strings seminar, concertato, sinfonia, Chamber music, music theory, choir, private and partner coaching from a piano teacher. 

Before attending the SCGSAH, I was required by my private teacher to perform in solo recitals. I also played with my school orchestras in many concerts. I was a member of many local orchestras and say concert mistress several times. Now at my school, I am required to perform solo recitals each semester. By the end of my junior year I will have performed three solo recitals ( having already performed one). I also still perform in many concerts with the orchestra, wind ensemble orchestra, pianists, choir, and small ensembles. 

I have always helped out with classes. At my old high school, before I auditioned to the Governor's School, I would always come into the lower orchestras class to assist them in learning their pieces and working together as an ensemble. My teacher would also set up several private lessons for me to give. I gave many several private lessons  children in middle school orchestras.
