Nabaz is a violinist, violist and conductor; he studied at KU and earned D.M.A in violin performance and Master’s degree in orchestral conducting. He established a string orchestra, participated in an international youth competition in Vienna in 2007, and won second prize. He has a wide experience teaching violin/viola for different levels from elementary to advanced level and he has eight years teaching experience in college level. He also taught in many summer classes and participated in many national and international festivals.
Nabaz Abubakir has over 8 years of music experience in the Lawrence area.
