Emily T.

Violist Emily currently enjoys an active career as orchestral and chamber musician, and private instructor. She is a member of the Richardson and Monroe Symphony Orchestras. Emily has performed at the Chamber Music Invitational at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and as a soloist playing Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante with the River Cities Symphony Orchestra. Since 2009 she has performed with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra five times, and counting! She has performed in masterclasses with musicians such as Choong-Jin Chang, Kimberly Fisher, Ellen Rose, and Dr. Juliet White-Smith. She had performed with musicians like Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Andres Cardenes, and Aaron Boyd. Emily teaches students of all ages, and creates specific lesson plans and goals for each student. She is certified to teach books one and two of the O'Connor Method, and often uses Suzuki and other supplemental materials. She is a member of ASTA and the American Viola Society.
