Multi-genre acoustic cellist and aspiring session musician. I am eager to pass on my passion of music performance to my students through relaxed and organized lessons of rock, pop and alternative music, with Suzuki method, some classical, and also a unique style of instruction. "Sharing my love of music, through my passion in cello."

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner -
Students are expected to provide their own cello and bow, however a cello/bow is available for use during lessons. They will also be asked-if necessary-to purchase related books to keep and use as a guideline outside of their lesson time. Seating, music stand, and a warm, safe and friendly environment will be provided, as well as rosin and other related accessories. These are hands-on lessons. Masks are up to the student and/or parents comfort. Lessons are adjusted based on the progression of each individual student and are subject to change. Each students lesson plans will reflect and highlight their unique qualities.
Formal Education:
• One year classical introduction to cello through West Port High School's MCCA (marion county center for the arts) Studied at college of Central Florida in music performance-associates orchestra. • Pursuing Bachelors of Music Performance
Private Education:
• Eight year background in hymnal/Gospel piano, age 7-15
• Six month private lessons for classical cello, age 20
• Self-taught instruction for alternative genres on cello including rock, jazz, indie, bluegrass, blues, pop, metal, classic rock, r&b, etc.
Performing Experience:
• With the Ocala Youth Symphony Orchestra as second/third chair cellist for Winter/Spring concerts and recitals (2015)• "Jam band" musician for local bluegrass group and an indie/jazz cover band in private, small crowd settings• Solo-instrumentalist for retirement facilities, weddings, nursing homes and private events• Regular musician for the Boba House's open mic and local Tampa open mics• Improv collaborations both on and off stage at open mics• Street-side solo performance 1st chair and solo cellist for musical production 'Once Upon a Mattress' circa 2015 at College of Central Florida
Experience Teaching:
I have no formal experience in teaching, however have provided private lessons for close friends and peers ranging from age 17 to 24 for cello (2), and have also provided lessons for children at the age of 5 and 6.
