Son to a Rock Folk and Blues musican, Dave has been surrounded by music all his life to the gentle rumbling of the music bleeding through his house in his youth, to the stages of the National, Canal club, Kingdom and many other Richmond venues and cities on the East Coast. A late bloomer, Dave officially picked up the guitar at age 17 while attending boarding school vowing to play it every day since still ringing true to this day. By the age of 19 played his first shows in Virginia and North Carolina. Having shared success with his bandmates from Memory Fade, Selected Enemy and Under the Flood, many songs Dave has been featured in have been played over the radio waves and opened for such reknowned bands as 12 Stones, Nonpoint, Breaking Benjamin, Diecast, The White Tie Affair, Saint Diablo. Souls Harbor. Now looking to expand his musical touch to others, Dave is now poised to take on students and show them some of the tricks of the trade.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Starting with a friendly introduction, we will identify the students skill level (experience, strengths, and weaknesses). Establishing goals and a practicing routine that will break down what can sometimes be intimidating and arduous, actually progress focused and geared towards each students unique abilities and learning pace.
Formal Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree obtained via VCU 2008 Adv College degree from Fork Union Military Academy 2004
Private Education:
Performing and writing with bands since the age of 18. Self taught and instructed by peers and father
Performing Experience:
Performed, Wrote, and Recorded with Richmond Rock band Memory Fade 2 (Signed to CAM Ent) Performed with Charlottesville Rock band Under the Flood 2011 (KOCH Records) Performed Bass guitar for Rock band Parabelle (Kevin Matysin's Evans Blue) out of Dallas Fort Worth Tx Collaborated with Artists such Straight Line Stitch (KOCH Records), Chasing Eden and Ashes to Wings Worked on stage crews with Sound Stage Richmond for set up for bands such as Sevendust and The Shins
