Review About Me
I started studying music, singing and composition, when I was 11 years old. It started with choir class in school, which I took only because my parents wouldn't buy me an instrument. How lucky I was! I was hooked instantly. Throughout the years I have been a member of national level competition choirs, written music for local artists and contests, performed at Carnegie Hall (2010) in NYC and more. My high school choir teacher was the biggest influence; he valued music theory knowledge and that enhanced my skill. I've been an instructor for over 10 years.

My formal education includes not only my high school days (which included a music theory and composition class, and membership to two competition choirs). During those days I also presided over our drama club, and produced a musical and several plays. Later, I went to Columbia College in Chicago, IL.
Private Education:
I continue my education everyday with free resources and private lessons. I'm always learning. Further, I've also earned a great education in the field of instruction over the last 10 years.
Performing Experience:
I've perfomed in national and state level choir and ensemble contests, as well as composed for those contests. In 2010 I got a chance to sing with a wonderfully talented choir in Carnegie Hall for Valentine's Day. I've spent a large amount of time on the stage, in plays and musicals over the last ten years.
Experience Teaching:
I started teaching professionally when I was only 14 years old. However, I didn't teach music. I taught martial arts. Over the last decade, teaching martial arts (and eventually music) I have developed my skills teaching classes and groups as large as 100+ and one-on-one private lessons. I'm personable, dynamic, organized, and above all fun.
