Review About Me
I am a professional performing and recording guitarist in Austin, TX, the “Live Music Capital of The World”. I am also an instructor for all ages in regards to the electric guitar and bass. My lessons and structure are totally unique to each students desires and talents, but also build on a strong foundation of fundamentals in order for each student to learn and get the most out of their instrument.
I have been teaching lessons for 6 years, in styles ranging from rock/blues to jazz, country, and acoustic. All of my lessons come with an audio CD containing examples from each lesson each week. I am also available 24/7 via email for any questions or concerns between lessons.
John Je- has over 3 years of music experience in the Austin area.
John Je- is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Record Engineer Produce .Formal Education:
Political Science major/Music Performance minor from Florida State University.
Performing Experience:
Have recording 3 albums of original material, produced several other albums for regional artists in the eastern US. Performed in venues from New York City to Austin, TX, including venues with up to 17,000 people (City of Orlando Fall Harvest Festival - 2009). I received an endorsement from Midnight Lace Guitars in 2008, releasing my signature model in 2009.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching guitar since 2004, and bass since 2007. I focus on a custom developed program that emphasizes a solid foundation of fundamentals to develop each student's unique talents and ideas.
