I am a 32 year old female that has been performing as the lead singer of a band for the past 10 years. No formal musical education aside from 10 years of Suzuki piano lessons and 6 years of vocal lessons. However, I have been performing every weekend at clubs, private parties and weddings for the past 10 years in a local cover band under the Midnight Sun agency. Throughout the past 10 years I have learned what it takes to become a good performer as well as vocalist, which is why I think I would be a good teacher. I am taking a break from performing for a while and would like to keep music in my life some how, so I feel teaching would be very fullfulling.
