Megan works as a sales associate for my retail books/gifts/stationery/coffee shop/wine bar. She is a delightful person and a very focused individual. She completes duties as assigned and usually goes above and beyond expectations. Megan worked for me two summers while she was in high school and returned to us this past summer. I am responding to the application review request for Megan J, a colleague of mine. Megan teaches general music and chorus for grades 6-12, and does a wonderful job of blending the two age groups, two school sites, and ensuring that her students are successful. Megan has also worked with the Drama Club in the preparation of a Christmas play, which was a huge accomplishment. Megan plans well for instruction, and ensures that her learning targets are appropriately matched with Goals and course objectives. The wide variety of activities support the instruction, are purposeful and fully aligned with the music curriculum. Students enjoy Megan's classes and are eager to participate. Band Director
To whom it may concern, My name is David Phillips and I am the band director at Wallace Rose Hill high school and Charity middle school. I have worked with Megan for three years. She has been the choral teacher at the high school and the general music teacher at the middle school here in Duplin County. Megan is a great musician! She is also a caring and passionate teacher! She inspires dedication and hard work from her students. I love listening to and watching her rehearsals. I always end up bringing some of her ideas for her choral students back to my band.
