I have been playing the guitar since I was 10 years old. I have had extensive training in most styles. Classical guitar is my style of focus in my professional performing career but I continue to play in a variety of styles. I have studied all over the U.S. and Europe with some of the world's finest teachers. I have been awared scholarships to institutions such as the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, the Konkinklijk Conservatorium Brussel (Royal Conservatory of Brussels) in Belgium, and the Aspen Music Festival and School. I do not see myself as only a musician. It is my life’s goal to be an artist. This means a variety of things to me. I wish to enhance people’s lives by revealing the beautiful things in life and encouraging them to develop their own identity as artists. My chosen medium is music but I have a very comprehensive and conceptual approach to it. Coupling this with my deep passion for teaching (and people in general) I wish to encourage others in discovering the richness of art in their own lives. I believe these things are meant for anyone wishing to acquire them. I have a particular passion for French Impressionistic music, especially Claude Debussy. His music, as well as his approach to music are deeply meaningful to me. He once said “Music, don't you know, is a dream from which the veils have been lifted.” This is my goal in both teaching and performing: to lift the veil for others.

Prof. Classical Guitar, College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati
I am happy to give a very enthusiastic recommendation to you for guitarist Andrew W. Andy completed his BM degree in Classical Guitar here and excelled in performance as well as academics. His character is above reproach and he is always one to prepare his lessons, his concerts, everything. He is amiable, supportive, and fair with his students. You will be pleased. Prof. Classical Guitar, Head of Guit. Department, Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Belgium
Trying to describe in words the immense talent, unique musicianship, exquisite pedagogical and social skills, charismatic personality and amiable and social presence of my former student and guitar quartet partner Andrew W. will be an impossible task. I will simply say instead that his presence and artistic contribution in your school will be of immense value. I have no reservations that within very short time you will feel exactly the same with the way I feel about his work and work ethics. Antigoni Goni wrote on Wed, 14 Dec 2016
