Percussionist and guitarist Jake studied drum set with Daniel Glass, Mark Moshayev, Ed Nardi, Nick Wight, and Wes Crawford, and Dr. N. Scott Robinson, and hand drums with world-renowned percussionist Yshai Afterman in Clil, Israel. Jake earned a Bachelor of Music degree as a scholarship student at Goucher College, where he was awarded the Robert Hall Lewis Prize for extraordinary achievement in music. He has performed throughout North America and internationally with the Baltimore-Based Soul musician, Bosley, and the contemporary jazz quartet, Otherworld. He is the music director for the music-focused childcare center, Drool of Rock, has served on the OrchKids program for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and taught for the Baltimore Talent Education Center. He is on the faculty of Music For The Young Child and the EMC performing arts studio, and teaches privately in the Baltimore region.
