Calvin is a touring trombonist and band leader of the Inner City All Stars which. His talents include arranging and composing music, booking and managing the band, and being a high energy front man for the band. umni of the University of North Texas where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Performance. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Calvin began yearned to play music. At the age of 12 he earned money to buy his first trombone by working at the Legion Field football Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama where he sold drinks, and hot dogs. Since then, Calvin has succeeded as an educator and private instruction.  His main focus is in guiding students to be successful for auditions, awards, and college preperation for auditions. Â
Calvin S has over 20 years of music experience in the Long Island City area.

Trombone lesson with Calvin
