Hello my name is Kristian! I'm from Tampa, Florida and I love playing and teaching. I started my musical journey back in sixth grade and fell in love with the saxophone. I went to an arts high school and dedicated my time to learning the jazz idiom. Now I am studying Jazz Studies at UCF and loving every moment of it. During my years in high school I gave lessons to my former middle school and my fellow underclassmen. Beyond the sax, I am also able to teach beginner drum lessons. I think the biggest reason why I love teaching music in general is that I tend to learn so much from the students. Which no matter how much mastery I gain on my instrument I know that there's always room to grow, a lesson I always try to teach my pupils!

I've perfomed in different venues's around the Tampa area! I've played in multiple big bands and smaller combos.

I've been teaching younger students for quite some time now. I teach saxohphone technique mainly but also music theory and fundamentals. I've also taught beginner drum lesson that include all percussion instruments.
