I am a symphony double bassist also trained in voice and composition. My performance experience includes the former Bach Society of Maryland, Maryland Symphonette, Richmond Symphony, and currently the Abington Symphony Orchestra and Abington Festival Strings, along with free-lance jobs. I am fortunate to have had some of the best private teachers in the country. I am dedicated to teaching so that I can share the knowledge and caring passed to me.

Transformed my playing!
As a "self-taught" double bassist, mostly in jazz, I felt I was missing the experience of playing in an orchestra. Enter Stephanie P, who was able to help me with not only my technique, but also how to read music at a very high level, very quickly. I always had a fear of reading music and therefore didn't bother learning, but through my lessons with Stephanie, not only can I read the music, I can now play it! She was able to provide the customized, detailed instruction necessary for my playing to reach new levels I hadn't considered before.
