I recently graduated from The University of Richmond, where I studied English and Spanish. I've been singing in a choir since the fifth grade and have a passion for all things music.
Taylor Ra. has over 10 years of music experience in the Powhatan area.
Taylor Ra. is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Vocal Lessons .Formal Education:
I was in choir from the fifth grade through the twelfth. I took piano lessons for three years and that is where I learned to read music. I practiced my sight reading throughout those eight years and sang everything from jazz to classical to folk music.
Private Education:
I took private piano lessons for three years.
Performing Experience:
I perfomed in multiple choirs, including a glee club in college. I also was in All-District Choir for three years.
Experience Teaching:
I have never taught music, but I did study education for a few semesters in college and I taught an English class. I was also a tutor for high school students, where I helped them with English, Spanish, chemistry, and algebra. I have also been a nanny/babysitter for over 10 years and I currently care for two one-year-olds, two three-year-olds, and a 10-year-old. I have often tutored the children I babysit and I also help them learn about music from a young age.

Taylor has worked with our company Painting Systems Inc in various postions. She has done job site work with our field crews, however her main responsibility has been with payroll, document development and translation. She is currently working on a web site for our newest division. Taylor is a hard worker, very personable and dependable.
