Olivia would be a great teacher for beginners who are interested in folk guitar and finger picking. She is also a very experienced song writer and would be able to help students who are interested in folk, rock, and pop composition. I'm confident that Olivia would be a reliable and patient teacher. Wonderful Guitar Teacher, Esp good for Beginners
Olivia helped me start to take playing guitar and my dreams of making music seriously. At our first lesson, she listened to me play what I had been practicing (since I'd been dabbling for awhile) and then asked me about my goals. She addressed and eased my anxiety about playing in front of people (a year later I just played my first show!), she helped me to list concrete goals I had with guitar and songwriting, and then in the following lessons she prepared prompts to start writing songs, and feedback on my current works in progress. She is very nonjudgmental and can help you take the next steps in your learning- not to mention her passion for music which shows and makes her a great person to help spark the motivation and self-belief while she gives you new chords, writing prompts, and suggestions for exercises that will push you along.
