Josewas born in Arroyo Puerto Rico. Starting his musical studies in 1979 at the age of 12 years with Professor Ruben Figueroa being part of the Guayama School Band 6 years thereafter. Graduated from high school in 1985 from Rafael Lopez Landrón in Guayama Puerto Rico. Obtained his Baccalaureate of Music in 1991 from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. From 1 he perform as a Music Professor for the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. Simultaneously to his work as a professor in Puerto Rico he became part of many renowned performing 2006 he became part of the the U.S. Army Bands participating in the 4th Infantry Division Band, The Ground Forces Band, The 8th Army Band and The 1st Cavalry Division Band. In November 2014 he retires from the active duty Army Band program. Jose still performing as a free lance musician all around US.
