My name is Carl, I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and have a genuine love for the instruments. I play a wide variety of styles including classic rock, southern rock, metal, blues, country and oldies. I also play bass, keyboard, mandolin and a little banjo.

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Depending on skill level my students will learn how to identify the parts of the guitar, strings, frets, bridge, nut, tuners, neck, etc. They will learn the notes up and down the fretboard. They will learn how to tune their instrument. They will learn 5 basic chords allowing them to play countless songs in a short time. Eventually moving on to chord and scale theory

Amazing teacher
Carl is a great teacher. I’ve had a couple of lessons with Carl and he has taught me so much about music theory, scales, songs, and so much more. I have become a better guitar since I started my lessons with Carl. Awesome Teacher
Carl was an outstanding teacher for my 9 year old granddaughter Joy who wanted to learn guitar. His soft spoken mannerisms and thorough instructions were excellent. I purchased 12 hourly sessions and she is playing now on her own with the full understanding of chords. Carl also engaged Joy in a number of other string instruments, the mandolin and an electric guitar, both of which she enjoyed.
