There is a balance between music theory and actually being able to put feeling into music. Learn how to articulate your notes and add interesting content to your leads. Learn how to play your music using every available tool. Learn how to shape your tone so it will match the artist or so it will satisfy what you hear in your head. Learn how to pick the best gear for your budget and how not to waste your money buying things you don't need. Lessons are geared to help you at any ability level to improve quickly and break any bad habits.
I teach all ages from beginner to expert, rhythm or lead, rock, blues, country, jazz, hybrid-picking, licks and tricks, weird cool chords, alt-tunings. Weekday afternoons after 3pm work best, start at my home studio, and possibly your place after the first lesson.

Andy C is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
Beginning at the age of 5, I was formally and classically trained as a pianist and performed at recitals. I learned brass instruments during my middle school years and played in the orchestra. During my high school and college years, I played drums in several rock/metal bands. I picked up guitar along the way and now I actually prefer to play guitar over all the other instruments.
Performing Experience:
From blues, country, classic rock, and acoustic gigs, I have many years of significant performing experience and reserve weekends for gigs. I am a working lead guitar player for multiple projects. I have played almost every weekend in a bar or dance club for many years and I have also have a steady gig at my church on Sunday leading our Worship Team.
