Hi, my name is Susan-Skye and I'm looking forward to working with you and/or your child! I have over 10 years' experience teaching private piano and voice lessons. I've been playing piano over 20 years, singing for 15 years, and playing drums off and on for 9 years. I'm interested and knowledgeable about many genres of music. I also have performance experience. I enjoy people of all ages and backgrounds and have years of first-hand experience working with the public and customer service in addition to my teaching experience.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
You should expect me to be laid-back but also a stickler for doing things the right way. I combine elements of traditional and Suzuki teaching methods, and I will try to work with you to find the best combination for your personal needs. I won't just teach you how to play the piano-I'll teach you how to be a pianist, and there is a difference in the quality of education. I was trained by a master teacher who was a former concert pianist, and it shows in my teaching style and methods.

Associate of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, 2009, College of the Mainland.
Experience Teaching:
I have been learning, playing and teaching music (off and on) for twenty years. I can play a variety of instruments, and I have taught private children's piano lessons. I regularly incorporated music into my preschool class when I taught preschool. I've been playing drums off and on for almost ten years. I know basic and advanced rhythms and sticking techniques. I also know how to read drum music. I have been singing for twenty years in choirs and solo performances. I have been privately trained as well.
