Originally born and raised in Bakersfield CA, Ryan K picked up the guitar at the age of 14 and since then has developed an undeniable passion for music. He started out self taught but eventually began to take private lessons and finally ended up giving lessons towards the end of his high school career. He also played for his church on certain occasions. After high school, Ryan began to pursue a musical career in LA and as of October 2012, he is currently studying at the Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA)(Now LACM) where he has learned to become much more versatile in other genres such as jazz, funk, R&B, and fusion. Through LAMA(Now LACM), he has also had the pleasure of working with some of the best musicians in the industry.
Ryan K has over 7 years of music experience in the Pasadena area.
