I come from a big family of musicians, the list of who isn't a musician is shorter than the list of who is a musician, by far. I play and am able to teach drum set, guitar, and ditonic (blues) harmonica. Most of my students say they like me because I have the "rock look" and because I have a sort of youthful vigor that keeps the lessons fun.
I hold most of my musical roots in southern rock and blues, but I am also experienced in country, punk, funk, hip-hop, ska/reggae, jazz, some latin grooves, and of course heavy metal and all sub-genres of metal. My favorite music tends to be punk rock, progressive rock, metal, jazz and blues. Well, that's what tends to stay in my truck's CD Player, anyway...
I can teach drum set instruction ranging from beginning to advanced methods. I can teach guitar and harmonica (and maybe even some singing) to beginner- and intermediate-level students.
Music lessons are extra fun with me because I have a bit of a "secret weapon" that most teachers I have met are not aware of or do not believe would help a student learn much. We will not use this special education method at first, of course, but if you are interested in finding out what makes me different from others, you need only contact me.
This is the best job I have ever had. I enjoy this job. I love this job. I've been doing it since 2006, and I believe I will be teaching music until I am unable to.

review from Mary Cross
A little pricey, but the guy came to my house, and we live in a small little town about 45 minutes to the closest city, which he drove all the way from! He's very friendly, helped my son realize the importance of practice and not just playing around, and helped set up the final finishes on the drum set (VERY helpful since I know nothing about them).
