About Me
I want to share my more than 30 years of experience as a performer, teacher and composer, and help my students become proficient on the instrument that has allowed me to travel and perform all over the world. Teaching: Private guitar instruction in various styles, including classical, rock, pop, funk, blues, jazz, punk and surf, for students of all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced. Lessons are tailored to each individual student with a focus on technique, repertoire, creativity, arranging and more. Also, private instruction in bass guitar for beginner students to intermediate. Staff teacher at various music stores, where my students range in age from 5 years to 60+. Both group and individual lessons taught in person and via Skype. Composer/Performer: Genre-bending composer (film and commercials), guitarist (studio and live/touring performance) arranger, guitar instructor, songwriter, producer, actress, writer. Composed and/or arranged songs on full-length albums by Axemunkee, Darling Pet Munkee, All the Queen’s Men, Ziaf, and The Michael J. Epstein Memorial Library. Also composed score for the independent film TEN. Appeared in two Darling Pet Munkee videos (“X-Ray Specs,” “Genuine Soil From Dracula’s Castle”) and several short films (Wake No More, El Loco Ojo, TEN (trailer).
