Born at Travis Air Force Base, California in 1959, and moved to Mississippi at age 5 after my father retired. I began playing piano and creating my own melodies and harmonies at age 4, and began formal lessons at age 8. I attended St. Martin Elementary, Junior High, and High School, where, as a senior, was voted "Most Talented". I attended the University of Southern Mississippi where I received my Bachelor degree in 1984. My wife and I moved to Denton, Texas in 1985 so I could attend Graduate School. We were blessed with twin daughters in 1992 and 11 years later, a son. I have been closely bound to the church all my life and was ordained as a Deacon for the First Baptist Church of Lavon in 2005. I am an active composer, writing primarily for the orchestra and have been creating music videos for You Tube and God Tube for 2 years now. My writing style is a blend of Romanticism and Impressionism and my videos are lovely works of art that have garnered some 17,000 hits world wide.

I then began a career in manufacturing, but continued to teach private lessons on and off from 1995 to present. I always loved teaching piano and have felt called back to this as a primary vocation. I look forward to sharing my joy and passion for music with every student I am entrusted with and am excited about working for Taylor Robinson Music!
