I studied piano with Marina Carroll through college. Advanced piano instruction: studied under Magdalena Stern-Baczewska

1987- 2001: competed and evaluated in the annual Accordion Teachers Association competitions. 1997 through 2001: I performed solo piano pieces, duets, vocal and choral accompaniments for chamber recitals, student concerts, department concerts and various works in progress. 2000 through 2006: I was a piano accompanist for Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Cedar Grove, NJ. I played piano at weekly and holiday family Masses. I have played background music for various political and private functions. I presently provide background piano music at the American Hotel in Freehold, NJ on Sunday mornings for their weekly brunch.

I have been teaching piano for the past twenty years. I have taught piano at both Broadway Performing Arts in Bloomfield, NJ and DeBellis Music Center in Newark, NJ In my weekly lessons with each student I teach them to play the piano, proper piano techniques, music theory, musicality, rhythms, and artistry. I belong to the Mid-Atlantic Teachers Guild and every spring we have a music festival. Each of my students are given the opportunity to compete in different piano categories. I also offer my students additional performance opportunities through hosting piano recitals and playing in the community entertaining residents in local assisted living homes.
