What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Advanced - Intermediate
A student will learn how to correctly hold the bass guitar, the names of the strings, pluck the strings properly, to read music, play and understand scales, understand about rhythm, time and the notes on the fingerboard. Not only to play bass lines but to understand and figure out the many and easiest ways to play bass lines and riffs. Be able to know what to play along on chord progressions and improvise with confidence! Go Low or go home!!
What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Advanced - Intermediate
A student can expect to learn how to properly stand with a double bass, to hold the bow (either French or German), the name of the strings, how to pluck ( pizzicato) the strings, how to find the notes in the fingerboard, how to read and understand the music staff along with the notes. I will breakdown many of the details and difficulties of playing the double bass and how to produce a solid tone and develop solid intonation using scales, arpeggios and orchestra repertoire. Learn to play the double bass confidently and enjoy the sound and versatility of the double bass.

2 years Community College of Rhode Island in Music Performance. Rhode College-String Class, Woodwind Class, Jamey Aebersold

5 years-Twin City Music 2 years-David Cobb-Retired member Boston Classical Orchestra.
