Though I let the student progress at his/her own pace, I stil push them to their personal limits, which I can pretty much determine after a couple lessons. On keyboards, I teach the different degrees of each key, as well as scale repetitions. I also try and teach the student to identify with their ear the sound of each degree so they can eventually learn how to pick out the degrees numbers being used in a song on the radio; thus learning to interpret by ear.

I dont expect a lot but I do require that you learn what I teach. I don't teach CHILDREN. So just give me your BEST EFFORT and I good.
Formal Education:
Some college but mostly self taught. Some of my Students over the years were studying in college and I learned the names of the chords and the number related to each degree, how the bass is used to identify what key your actually in when playing any chord, among many other things.
Private Education:
From playing in Church, with bands and privately, I have developing my skills as a Vocal coach,band keyboardist, and songwriter. From my own home studio I have developed my songwritiing, producing, and arranging skills to perfection.
Performing Experience:
Have played with numerous bands. Have been on program with major artists such as James Cleveland, Shirley Ceasar, Andrae Crouch, Commissioned, Vickie Winans, Williams Bros. Have performed on stage with Karen Clark, Al Green, Johnny Taylor Jr., Trumpeter Tom Brown. Went on tour with the Hawkins Family (Walter, Edwin)
Experience Teaching:
Have taught numerous students on keyboard, 20 to 30 vocal students, and have developed numerous singing artists.
