Corliss holds a bachelor's degree in music education from the Univeristy of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master's of Music from Louisiana State University. She has been teaching voice and piano lessons for over 5 years. She has taught at the Acadiana School of the Arts and the Lafayette Conservatory of Music in Lafayette Louisiana. She is a Sigma Alpha Iota Alumae and a member of the National Associationg of Teachers of Singing. Ms. Smith has studied music in Italy and has performed with Chorale Acadienne in New York's Carnegie Hall.
