It's said that Samantha has been singing since she could barely utter her first word. She started young with "Achy Breaky Heart" and "These Boots Were Made for Walkin" via telephone line for distant relatives at age 3. However, her first claim to fame was performing at the House of Blues New Orleans when she was 16 years old. In college, she was the designated national anthem vocalist for the UVU hockey games and then progressed to perform at the Utah Grizzlies hockey games. Her more recent projects include performing with Vinyl Tapestries (both solo and full band). She's played for numerous events and shows throughout Utah, ie. Sundance Film Festival, Kabin Fever Festival, Urban Lounge, Murray Theater, Devil's Daughter, The Woodshed, Fat's Bar and Grill, The Green Pig, Bar Deluxe, Burt's Tiki Lounge etc. Samantha also appeared on American Idol on January 29th & February 5th 2014.

Samantha has worked with all ages in both group and private settings. HRH:Songwriting and Creative Writing Groups as coping skills Music Performance groups as self esteem building tools YouthCity Afterschool Program: Participated in an anti-bullying awareness event "Bring Bullying Out of the Dark". Wrote and directed Ottinger Hall's Children's Chorus anti-bullying theme song "The Unity Anthem". Also held classes such as songwriting, choir, group voice lessons and music recording etc. California Music Studios- Voice, Piano (private instruction) Hollywood Music Studios- Voice, Piano (group instruction) Samantha is licensed in Recreation Therapy, and uses music and songwriting as a tool to introduce positive coping strategies to those struggling with addiction and other mental illnesses.
