Review About Me
My name is Tyler. I am a country singer, but I love all genres of music. I am influenced my Miranda Lambert, The Civil Wars, John Mayer and many others. When it comes to teaching, I think it is important to lay down a strong foundation of proper technique; proper technique makes it possible to sing anything. I also believe in letting students study what they like. I love classical music and I think it is an important foundation, but I know that not everyone wants to learn that. Kids are more engaged when they are learning something that they actually want to learn.

I studied music education at Georgia State University for two years and then transferred to Point University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy.
Private Education:
I have taken 12 years of private voice. I have studied classical, musical theater, pop, jazz, R&B and country.
Performing Experience:
I have been performing since the fifth grade. I started out in the Indianapolis Children's Choir. I have performed in Canada and China and all over the U.S. I was the lead role in Point University's production of "Nunsense" in the Spring of 2012. I regularly perform as a country singer at different venues throughout Atlanta.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught voice on and off throughout college and have taught guitar and piano lessons.
