Review About Me
My musical influences include anything from Jimi Hendrix to Taylor Swift. I play and feel the most confident playing the blues and playing singer/songwriter finger picking kind of music. I teach precision, accuracy, and technique above all things. I tell a student that things should be played slow with bold and accurate stokes first and slowly move up to a faster pace. For rhythm, I teach different picking patterns and strumming patterns. I will also show a student some basic music theory, which is essential if they are ever interested in writing a song. Students will also receive knowledge in the way that they feel is best for them. I can adjust to their learning style and playing style as needed.

Formal Education:
I have a Dark Horse Institute Certificate of Completion. Dark Horse Institute is a professional studio in Nashville, TN that teaches digital and analog recording basics and techniques. So I have a formal education in the area of Audio Engineering.
Private Education:
I've had alot of time to take private guitar and vocal lessons. I take lessons with a phenomonal local guitarist in Pendleton by the name of Rhett Smith who is endorsed by "PRS Guitars".
Performing Experience:
I've been playing for my church in Central, SC called New Life for at least half a year now. I also have been playing at different open mic nights for around 3 years.
