My only "formal education" comes from Music its self, and it is an ever expanding education that requires passion for sound as its only tuition.

Personal interest in music is my educational foundation. Combining research and experience with fellow musicians provides a compendium of musical ability to draw from when composing or practicing. I strongly hold the belief that you are the only one that can really teach yourself anything, but having a coach or sensei to guide you in the right direction is the only way to avoid the pitfalls of personal study.

Many, many shows with Northern California based groups: Righteous Vibrations, The Possible Futures, Lucas Prana and the Gypsy Vayus. From Reggae to modern folk rock to spiritual ceremonial music, Northern California's music scene has provided me with much valuable experience in the community, which allows for a rapport with local musicians (very important for a gigging musician).

Composing for multiple bands including; Righteous Vibrations, The Possible Futures, The Gypsy Vayus and Sweet Technique. In home lessons for all ages includes string technique, strumming, chord patterns, basic theory, song construction & composition, rhythm patterning, and for those inclined, Ensemble Band with fellow musicians. With over five years of instruction experience, I have found that it is just as important to learn to listen as it is to play. Playing music is the act of having an openhearted conversation with the world around you. The outcome of such willingness to share with the world regularly is a mental and spiritual growth that no other experience can provide.
