I'm an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and organized teacher that is passionate about great singing and training singers to improve their ability to express themselves and be more comfortable on stage. I have taken some performance classes with Jean Kopperud at UB in which I learned great tips that I can pass on to you. i have a lot of solo and choral singing experience. I have sung in Carnegie Hall, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Radio City Music Hall,the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the United Nations all under the conductor Harold Rosenbaum. I have sung solos with the UB Choir and Chorus many times during my time there and joined the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus last year and did a solo with them this past December.

I have a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance from the University at Buffalo.

Performing Experience:
I have performed in various choral groups as both a member of the choruses and a soloist. Participated in Songfest 2007 as a Young Artist.
Experience Teaching:
Students can expect challenging exercises and a breadth of knowledge about how to pick music to sing, what vocal range they should sing in, what ways to properly control tone and good breathing technique. I will teach them the importance of genuine expression in singing. I have learnt a lot over the years about how to get power and resonance in the voice without pushing or overexerting yourself. I record lessons and make them available for download to the student. I can burn the lessons to CD by special request as well. I think its important to be able to go back and listen to the lessons and take notes on the things I said.
