My name is Laura. I live in Monclova, OH and I love teaching music. I started singing from a very young age and started piano at age 9. I loved learning different intstruments throughout school such as clarinet, french horn, and guitar. I also became involved in every music program my school had to offer as well as being apart of multiple musical groups in church. After high school, I continued playing and writing music as I traveled around the world with Youth With A Mission. For a few years after that I worked in health care and then resigned my position to teach music a year ago. I have enjoyed every minute of teaching since!

Private Education:
I started piano lessons 16 years ago with a private instructor and picked up guitar in 2003. I have also had private voice lessons.
Performing Experience:
I have sang in mulitple jazz ensembles, choirs, and competitions as well as lead the music program at a young adult camp in California. I am also on staff at my church as the music director.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught piano, voice, and guitar lessons at Forte School of Music and the Arts from August 2011 to present.
I have given private piano and guitar lessons since 2005.
