Hi, my name is Taylor and I am a 26 years old that has recently moved from Hawai'i about a year ago. I have been a student of music for since I was in middle school and have two degrees in Music which are: Bass Performance and Compostion/Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. My musical influences are mostly sought from the 50s and 60s era, so a lot of Beatles and Motown music. My teaching style can best be described as a mix of traditional and a more contemporary take to lessons. That being said, I do try to teach my students how to read music on paper but also involve a lot of ear training so the students can learn to figure things out as well. For the past year, I have also been working at another Music school called, Music N' More in which I teach private guitar and bass lessons. We usually work on beginner books such as Hal Leonards and other equivalent materials. In my lessons, you can expect to learn different materials depending on how advanced you are on guitar or bass, so usually ranging from basic rhythms, melodies, and songs to more advanced chordal voicings and more difficult songs to music theory and sightreading.
