3 Years
Dustin began playing guitar at the age of 11, learning his basic chords, what a measure is, tempo, which chords work best with each other, then as he got older and more experienced, he discovered pedals and modulation then his whole life was changed. Dustin also began learning bass around the same time. He realized although the bass may LOOK like a guitar, they have two totally different functions. He studied what makes a bass the foundation of any song and how there's more to playing the root. He learned scales, triads, circle of fifths, and developed a better understanding of music theory with this seemingly "easy instrument" which in reality is what gives life to any song. Dustin has been in many bands performing in front of crowds over 20 years and decided to learn the art of music production. He built and furnished a dedicated studio with aspirations of recording local musicians, mixing for musicians and teaching his 13 year old son guitar and basic drum patterns. Dustin is fluent in all things music including songwriting and poetry and looks forward to molding new minds with everything he's learned throughout his life dedicated to music
