Jeremy Kh.-

As far as formal education goes. I formally learned music theory and had my basic in grade school. I also took a few lessons through my years but did better at self study. I am also finishing up my music degree at University of South Alabama.

I went to a catholic school for middle school and elementary and thats where it all started. I first picked up the recorder and was involved in choir. Then picked up the trombone, switched to trumpet and played the bells. My mom played piano and sang, thats where I started to play piano. I picked up the guitar at age 8 and had a few lessons but it seemed to come naturally to me. I am always striving to keep getting better and push myself. I am currently finishing up my music degree at University Of South Alabama.

Since the age of 8 I have been performing music. I was in the choir in catholic school at a young age, also played trumpet, trombone, recorder, and bells in band while in school. I have also been in numerous bands playing as lead guitarist, back up vocals, and also played bass. I have played shows all over the country with bands Jehovah Pimento, Diffuser, Self Destructing Messangers, Fourth Quarter Rising, SundayLuck, Drip, Dread, Plan B Band, Vertical Landing, and a few others.. Also do session work when able. I also performed as lead guitarist in my past church band Capital Christian Center in Olympia,WA. And with that band played side shows at festivals, church events, and various meetings. I ve played in many different venues from frat house parties, to bars, clubs, and major venues, and even houses and cafes.. I am currently recording a new album as lead guitarist and other strings with Kiss Me Origami.

I have been independently teaching guitar for the past 11 years now.. I have worked for Yenney Music in Olympia, WA as a guitar instructor for 2 of those years.
