Michael began his musical journey at the age of six, learning piano and percussion. His passion and dedication to music were further honed through active participation in his high school band program. Michael gained extensive performance experience across various ensembles, including Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band. Notably, he performed at prestigious venues such as the All - American Music Festival at Walt Disney World and played as a Marine Bandsman. While Michael is proficient in teaching a wide range of musical genres, his specialties and personal favorites are drums, percussion, and piano, which have greatly shaped his distinctive playing style.
