Hi, my name is Shawn, and I am a flutist/piccoloist in Windermere FL. I have been a student of music for over 20 years. My musical influences include classical and Broadway and I also enjoy improvisation. My teaching style can best be described as individualized. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I nurture the inner musician to create the outer performer. In my lessons, you can expect to learn techniques and theory. I like to tell my students anyone can make music but you have to work to become a performer. My favorite thing about teaching is adjusting my teaching style to fit the needs of my students. My favorite performance was performing at Carnegie Hall. I primarily teach flute, but I can also teach Piccolo. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
