My very first violin teacher was my schools'music teacher. She asked my mom if she can give me FREE private lessons in the teachers lounge after school. Who would have thought, that one act of kindness would have given me the most amazing memorable once in a lifetime experiences. With 25 years of violin experience, I have had the privilege of performing in a variety of settings and styles. I played as 1st chair in an orchestra for 8 years, honing my skills and leadership, with the opportunity to travel to Europe for international performances. My musical journey includes playing at weddings, churches, and collaborating with an orchestra recording with renowned ukulele virtuoso Jake SShimabukuro Over the years, I have also earned several prestigious awards and $10,000 in scholarships for my dedication to the craft. As a violin instructor- I blend the joy of music with the importance of discipline. My approach focuses on making learning fun and engaging, while also emphasizing hard work and consistent practice. I believe that through dedication, students not only master their instrument but also develop valuable life skills.
