Hi! My name is Jim. I've been playing guitar for 50 years now ! and teaching for almost 40. My main instrument is guitar all styles including classical, folk, rock, pop, and jazz. My second instrument is electric bass, and I also am proficient on ukulele. I also played trombone since 5th grade, picked up woodwind and brasses in college, and taught general music and band for many years. I'm very experienced with students of all ages, from 5 to 75, but I most enjoy working with elementary, middle school. And high school students. I've also worked with students with special needs, including deaf and hard of hearing students, and children with Asperger's .
