Carmelo Medina is a musician who always surprised by the number of ideas generated by the strings of his guitar,for his high technical level that has been cultivated over years of study and work, and his ability to assimilate the influence of musicians like Frank Gambale, Scott Henderson, among others. Born in San Carlos, Venezuela, from an early age he began to play the cuatro-typical folklorial instrument of Venezuela-get their attention, devoting himself to study the so-called national instrument. Subsequently, the harp would attract you also dedicating several years of study to the instrument. However, it would be the guitar that, ultimately, the instrument that captivate his senses and which led him to travel the roads of music to safe passage. As a soloist he has four recordings: Horizontes 2006, Otro Sistema 2009, ¡Oh Que Bueno! 2011 and Buena ocasion 2016. Also he is a member of Guaco, the Super Band of Venezuela. As a session music he has recorded with Guaco, Cesar Orozco, Juan Ernesto Laya, Huascar Barradas, Roberto Vasquez, among others.
