Hi there! My name is Bailey. I have played violin since I was 9 years old. I love my instrument and music itself and would love to spread my love of music to all of you. I volunteer at my local intermediate school a lot to help the director with the kids and their playing. I just graduated high school, and my favorite memory was being part of the chamber orchestra for my high school career. I’m great with kids and would love to share my knowledge of music to y’all!

Formal Education:
I wouldn’t consider volunteering at the intermediate orchestra a “formal education” ,however, I do help out quite often over there. I introduce new students to the instruments and even teach them a little tune. Teaching them such a simple song really fuses their interest with the instrument, leading for them to stay in orchestra.
Private Education:
I have been giving my little sisters violin lessons for over a year now. They have improved so much! We start the lessons off with the basics (right finger placement, bow, posture) then we really start to focus on the music
Performing Experience:
Throughout my violin career, I have performed at music festivals, as a soloist, concerts, etc. I am not a professional musician, however, I do want to spread my love and knowledge of music to the people interested.
Experience Teaching:
The only people I’ve given and official private lesson to are my little sisters. My directors have given me a couple of tips to help encourage kids to be focused, but still have fun!
