Joseph P.

Joe, Tenor, was born and raised in Green Cove Springs, FL. He has been studying bel canto voice since 2013 and performing as a soloist since 2014. He has been active in the Barbershop Harmony Society as a lead singer in quartets and choruses for almost a decade, notably for the Tampa Heralds of Harmony when they scored 11th internationally at the 2015 Pittsburgh competition. Accredited as the 2015 Vocal Division Winner, he earned the opportunity to perform a selection from Handel’s Messiah with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra at the 2015 Concert on the Green. Joe is actively working on finishing a degree in Voice Performance, and has been teaching voice for the last three years. These days, Joe can be found singing backup for touring artists such as The Eagles and Sarah Brightman as they make their way through Florida. Joe is passionate about the benefits of physical association to the voice and actively seeks new ways to incorporate yoga and exercise into vocal production as he continues in his own fitness journey. In his spare time, Joe loves powerlifting, collecting retro video games, spending time with his dog Arlo, and all things pro wrestling.
