Hi, my name is Hope and I am a professional singer from Draper, Utah. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have been a student of music for over 15 years. I have taken and taught singing lessons, performed, written, and produced music of my own, and learned various instruments along the way. I am currently a university student studying music! My musical influences include artists like LEON, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Lizzy Mcalpine. But I love all music genres! My teaching style can best be described as contemporary. I like to create a learning environment that the student enjoys just as much as I do! In my lessons, you can expect to learn various techniques and skills through the music of your student's choice. This creates a fun atmosphere that your student will enjoy while increasing skill, learning technique, and building confidence! My favorite thing about teaching is seeing their confidence in themselves and this skill increase. My favorite performance was one of the weddings I sang at! I played for their first dance. This particular wedding was special because the bride had always dreamed of having her wedding song performed live. It was so fun to help her make that dream come true! My students love that I can connect with them. I have always felt passionate about leveling with my students and making them feel loved seen and respected. I primarily teach Voice lessons, but I can also teach songwriting skills. My approach as a teacher is to build up my student's confidence and skill. Teaching is an extremely rewarding job and I am grateful for any opportunity I have to share what I know and connect with other people. I hope we can work together!
